Govt to get new federal budget passed from parliament without any hindrance: Dr Firdous

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan hopes the PTI government and its allies would be able to get the new federal budget passed from the parliament without any hindrance.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, she said the government would achieve all the targets set in the budget proposals for the fiscal year 2019/2020 for the benefit of the people and the country.

The Special Assistant said the previous regimes of PPP and PML-N had left the national economy in a shambles, which is now going to take off due to the prudent policies of PTI government.

About meeting between PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz at Raiwind, she said both the leaders want to save their fathers who are facing corruption charges.

Earlier at their meeting in Raiwind, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Maryam Nawaz had hinted to block the passage of federal budget in the parliament, expressing their reservations on the budget proposals.
