Rs 24 billion allocated for FATA development


Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra says the government has allocated over twenty-four billion rupees for development of Federally Administered Tribal Areas.

Presiding over a meeting in Peshawar on Moday, he said seventy percent of the amount has been allocated for ongoing projects while thirty percent for the new schemes.

The Governor directed the concerned authorities to accelerate the pace of development and ensure efficient utilization of funds in tribal areas.
