Pakistan Army hits several Indian Army posts on LoC, soldiers killed: Indian media

NEW DELHI: Pakistan Army has opened fire for the second time on Monday and targeted several Indian posts in Jammu and Kashmir sector, Times of India has reported.

One jawan was injured in the firing.

The Indian Army is also retaliating against the firing.

Earlier in the day, an Army jawan was killed while three persons were injured in heavy firing by the  Pakistan Army in Poonch and Rajouri districts. 

Pakistan also shelled mortars on areas along the LoC in Balakote, Manjakote and Baroti belts.

The shelling came on a day when India and Pakistan were holding DGMO-level talks. 

Lt Gen A K Bhatt, the director general of military operations (DGMO) was told by his Pakistani counterpart that the Pakistan Army reserves the right to retaliate appropriately against any incident of ceasefire violation along the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir.
