KARACHI: The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$13,489.2 million on January 11, said SBP weekly report issued here on Thursday. The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under:
i) Foreign reserves held by the SBP : US$ 6,901.2 million
ii) Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks: US$ 6,588.0 million
iii) Total liquid foreign reserves: US$ 13,489.2 million
During the week ending 11 January 2019, SBP’s reserves decreased by US$148 million to US$6,901.2 million, due to external debt servicing and other official payments.
