Afghanistan regional police Chief killed by Afghan Taliban

KABUL - In Afghanistan , at least ten Taliban militants have been killed by intelligence forces during a raid in the Hesarak district of eastern Nangarhar province.

The governor’s spokesman said National Directorate of Security forces targeted a gathering of insurgents in the district and killed them including three commanders.

Meanwhile, district police chief of Shinwari district was killed while two others injured in eastern Parwan province on Thursday.

A provincial official said he was killed in a clash with the Taliban fighters.
