DUBAI - Lahore Qalandars Skipper Mohammad Hafeez faces a worst setback as he may miss a major part of Pakistan Super League due thumb injury.
Lahore Qalandars captain Mohammad Hafeez has been ruled out of tonight’s Pakistan Super League game against Peshawar Zalmi in Dubai.
Hafeez injured his thumb during Qalandars game against Karachi Kings in Dubai on Saturday.
According to an official of the Lahore Qalandars, Hafeez has been advised to rest for a few days following initial scans conducted after he was hit on the thumb.
“Hafeez won’t be playing today. In his absence, AB de Villiers will lead the team,” Qalandars manager Sameen Rana said.
