Armed Forces broke backbone of terrorists: Asif

ISLAMABAD:Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that the country will continue to play its role in weeding out the menace of terrorism, extremism and militancy.

Addressing the workers convention in Sialkot, he said Armed Forces have broken the backbone of terrorists and peace has prevailed in the country.

Khwaja Muhammad Asif said that Pakistan is closely monitoring the situation along its eastern and western borders. He said we have the capability to give a strong response to our enemies in case of any eventuality against our country.

The Foreign Minister said that India did more than two thousand violations of the ceasefire along the Line of Control and Working Boundary.

He said the PML-N government has completed a record number of social welfare and human development projects across the country in the last four years under the dynamic leadership of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.APP
