WASHINGTON: US had a plan of cyber attacks on Iran if diplomatic efforts to diminish Iran’s nuclear programme failed.

US planned to disable Iran’s air defense, communication system and its power grid.

The code name of plan was Nitro Zeus and thousands of American military and intelligence personnel were involved in the programme.

The Nitro Zeus plan was developed by Bush administration and renewed in 2009 & 2010.

US placed electronic implants in Iranian computer network to disable Iran’s nuclear programme.

US and Israel also destroyed 1,000 centrifuges at Nantaz nuclear programme in a cyber attack code name Olympic Games.

A documentary film named ‘Zero Days’ is also made on Nitro Zeus mission and would be shown in Berlin Film Festival for the first time.
