Strategic balance in South Asia is key to regional peace: Sartaj Aziz

ISLAMABAD: Advisor to PM Nawaz Sharif on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz expressed his regrets over the concerns of India, regarding the sale of eight F-16 fighter jets to Pakistan by USA.
As per details, he was interviewed by private TV channel here at Tuesday. He made it clear that India’s objections are baseless over the deal of F-16 between Pakistan and USA.
The advisor added that India itself is a big dealer of arms and ammunitions and is engaged in big deals of arms with Russia and United States.
He further stated that US has taken a clear stance that F-16 jets is being provided to fight against terrorism.
Strategic balance has a lot of importance in South Asia for the regional security. Sartaj added.
