Dozens of Afghan policemen and Army soldiers killed in Helmand offensive by Taliban
KABUL: Dozens of Afghan policemen and Army soldiers have been killed in Helmand in a series of Taliban attacks.

 

An Afghan official claimed that 25 soldiers and 27 policemen have been killed in different incidents in Helmand province.

 

He claimed that some 250 policemen and 300 soldiers have been surrounded by Taliban in Majrah.

 

He also said that roads are blocked with explosive devices and we are providing them support from air.

 

Seven soldiers and 15 policemen were also killed in an attack on checkpoint in Sangin.

 

Taliban are also using stolen heavy-duty vehicles and Humvees in attacks.
