Disheartened Pakistani pacer Mohammad Amir decides to quit international cricket

LAHORE – After being dropped from the New Zealand tour, disheartened Pakistan left-arm pacer Mohammad Amir has on Thursday decided to quit international cricket.
According to details, Mohammad Amir has said that he will formally announce retirement from international cricket in a couple of days. The 28-year-old said he can work no longer with the current management.
Earlier on Wednesday, Mohammad Amir said in a video statement that there are no hopes of his comeback in Pakistan team and the behavior of bowling coach Waqar Younis is unbearable.
The left-amer said it was shocking for him that the national team for New Zealand tour was announced before Pakistan Super League (PSL) playoffs as it did not make any sense.
Mohammad Amir made his international debut for Pakistan in 2009 at the age of just seventeen against Sri Lanka. He was part of the 2009 ICC T20I World Cup which Pakistan won and had played every game in the tournament for his side.
He was charged with spot-fixing in 2010 during England tour and was handed a five-year ban after pleading guilty. Amir’s ban was due to end on September 2, 2015 but he was allowed an early return to domestic cricket on January 29, 2015.
