PM Narendra Modi gives an olive branch to Kashmiris

NEW DELHI - Indian Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi said he would embrace the people of Indian-held Jammu and Kashmir because that is the only way to resolve the issues plaguing the disputed valley.
Referring to former Indian PM, Modi said, “Atalji called for humanity, eclectic Kashmiri culture and democracy.”
“I also said that the issues in Kashmir can be resolved by embracing the people of Kashmir,” he added.
