PM elect Imran Khan oath taking ceremony to break the historic traditions

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has directed to stage the oath-taking event in simple manner. It would be a historic event as no lavish food would he served in the ceremony.
The guests will be served with tea and biscuits in the oath-taking ceremony to be held at the Aiwan-e-Sadr (President House) Islamabad on August 18. The PTI chief has also directed to avoid any unnecessary burden on the national exchequer in this regard.
Only a few close friends of Imran Khan will be invited. There will be no show of extravagance at the event.
Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) emerged as the single largest party in the elections held on July 25 and he will be sworn-in as Prime Minister on August 18.
