Caretaker government drafts bills for presentation to the Parliament

ISLAMABAD - Ministry of Law and Justice has drafted bills for presentation to the Parliament which are to be considered by the incoming Cabinet.
The bills were drafted under the guidance of Caretaker Minister for Law and Justice Barrister Syed Ali Zafar.
Chairing a meeting on law reforms in Islamabad today, Barrister Syed Ali Zafar said during its short period, Law Ministry has finalized the Code of Civil Procedure (Amendment) Bill, 2018.
The Bill is aimed at expeditious disposal of civil cases without compromising fundamental right of fair trial.
He said the proposals also limit unnecessary discretion of civil courts and restrict granting of adjournments.
