Punjab Police : 2 drunken policemen beaten by citizens

MULTAN: (APP) Citizens beaten two drunken policemen and handed over to police as they thrashed a rickshaw driver carrying school girls at Rasheedabad chowk in the city on Tuesday morning.
SHO Lohari gate Muhammad Akram confirmed that the two policemen acted under the influence of liquor.
Both the policemen had been taken into custody and suspended. A case was registered against them under sections 341, 506 etc.
