ISLAMABAD (APP): State Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Anusha Rahman Khan on Wednesday informed the National Assembly that internet facility would be provided to 90 per cent areas of Balochistan by 2018.
Responding to a supplementary question during Question Hour, the Minister said work on basic infrastructure to provide the internet facility to various areas of Balochistan was underway.
Meanwhile, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmed told the House that at present, 151 offices of Pakistan Bait-ul Mall (PBM) were working across the country. New offices of PBM were established upon creation of new districts by the government, he added.
Regarding medical assistance to deserving people by PBM, the minister said checque was only given to the government hospitals for treatment of patient.
