*LAHORE: * Important development have been made on Punjab Cabinet formation, PTI sold out members to get key slots in phase one of the cabinet formation.
*Punjab cabinet will be formed on April 18 following Hamza Shehbaz’s election as chief minister from the Punjab Assembly with the support of votes cast in his favour by estranged PTI lawmakers in an unprecedented violent session.*
According to sources having knowledge of the process, the Punjab cabinet will be finalized in two phases and in the first phase, allies would be adjusted in the cabinet.
“In second phase, PML-N will add its own lawmakers in the cabinet,” they said and added the entire cabinet would comprise of 40 to 45 lawmakers.
Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Hamza Shehbaz was elected Chief Minister Punjab after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and allied parties boycotted the session after ruckus link which saw police enter the house.
Hamza Shahbaz got 197 votes from the house.
