Pakistan's first Super Kabaddi League starts from June 2

ISLAMABAD:Pakistan's first Super Kabaddi League will be held in Lahore from second to 10th of next month, for which preparations are being finalized.

Players from eight countries including Iran, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Iraq, Kenya and Japan will take part in event.

The inauguration ceremony of the event will be held on 1st of May.

The draft for this league will be announced on 23rd of this month, with more than one hundred twenty players taking part in that process.

Teams of Faisalabad, Multan, Gujrat, Karachi, Islamabad, Gwadar and Peshawar will take part in the grand event, along the host team Lahore.

Indian players are also expected to feature in the inaugural edition of the SKL.

Secretary Pakistan Kabaddi Federation Muhammad Sarwar told APP that the board had sent an invitation to Indian counterpart for participation in the Super League. APP/AFP
