Indian Army Officer and Soldiers killed and injured at LoC: Indian media report

An Indian Army jawan was killed and two others, including an officer, were injured on Tuesday when Pakistani troops retaliated to ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Earlier, officials had said that three Army personnel including an officer were injured in Pakistani firing.

In the afternoon hours, the Indian Army initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by firing with small arms and intense shelling with mortars along LoC in Sunderbani sector of the district.

The Pakistan retaliated befittingly. The officer, along with another soldier, is undergoing treatment at the military hospital, sources told news agency PTI.
