PM in Karachi: visits Quaid's mausoleum

Prime Minister Imran Khan arrived Karachi on his first ever visit after elected as Prime Minister a short while ago.

Governor Sindh Imran Ismail and Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah received him at airport.

Our Karachi correspondent Altaf Pirzado reports that Prime Minister visited mausoleum of Father of Nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, lay floral wreath and offer fateha. He also visited mausoleums of Madr-e-Millat Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah and former Prime Minister of Pakistan Liaquat Ali Khan and offered fateha for them.

Prime Minister will chair a high level meeting to review progress on federal government funded projects in the city. He will also chair a meeting on law and order.

During his day-long visit, Prime Minister will plant a sapling at State Guest House in regards with National Tree Plantation Campaign.

Governor Sindh Imran Ismail, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, delegates of traders and notables and journalists will also called on Prime Minister.

Prime Minister will also attend a fund raising dinner in regards with raising funds for dams at Governor House.
