FM's visit to set contours of new govt's future engagement with Afghanistan: Faisal
Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal has stressed the need for enhancing trade and cooperation in matters relating to security between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
He was talking in Radio Pakistan's News and Current Affairs Channel today (Saturday).
He said visit of Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi to Kabul will set contours of the new government's future engagement with Afghanistan.
The Spokesperson said Pakistan hopes its relations with Afghanistan will further improve in coming days.
He said Shah Mehmood Qureshi held constructive meetings with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani, Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah and his Afghan counterpart Slahuddin Rabbani and discussed the issues in detail.
He said that Afghan President and Foreign Minister are expected to visit Pakistan next month.
