Pakistani Hujjaj being paid back by government over missing transport facility in Saudi Arabia

ISLAMABAD: The religious affairs ministry has decided to pay back the Pakistani Hujjaj who were not provided with the transport facility during the Hajj 2017 in Saudi Arabia.
Ministry has refunded 10.75 million Saudi riyals to 43,000 Pakistani pilgrims, who were not provided with the train facility at Mina and onward while performing Hajj.
The ministry’s officials said around 58,000 Pakistani pilgrims who performed the pilgrimage under the government’s Hajj Scheme-2017 were not provided with the train facility despite paying for the tickets.
Therefore, to facilitate them the government is paying each Pakistani pilgrim SR 250.
