ICC congratulates Pakistan on successful staging of Independence cup

The International Cricket Council has congratulated Pakistan for successfully staging the Independence Cup against World XI in Lahore.
In a Press Release, ICC Director, Giles Clarke, and Chief Executive David Richardson also thanked the people of Pakistan for embracing the World XI players.
They said these are small steps of Pakistan towards the safe and steady revival of bilateral international cricket.
Pakistan has successfully held the World XI international matches in Lahore which would become the start of the regular international cricket in Pakistan.
