'Pak-US Knowledge Corridor' discussed by US Ambassador David Hale

ISLAMABAD: (APP) American Ambassador to Pakistan, David Hale called on Minister for Planning, Development and Reform, Prof. Ahsan Iqbal here on Friday and discussed Pak-US Knowledge Corridor and cooperation in education sector besides matters of mutual interests.
During the meeting, the minister reiterated his determination to send 10,000 Pakistani scholars to USA for obtaining PhD from the US universities.

Pakistan, he said, wanted to maintain strong relations with the USA in education sector.
The bilateral relations between the two countries could further be strengthened at the people to people level through the Knowledge Corridor.

The minister said, Pakistani youth were proving their talent and abilities all over the world.
He also informed the distinguished guest that Pakistani women were playing their pivotal role for uplift of society.
