Landmine blast in Nasirabad

DERA MURAD JAMALI (APP): Two died in a landmine blast near Phulaji area of Nasirabad district on Thursday.
According to police sources, the victim were on way to somewhere on a bike when their motorcycle hit a planted landmine beside the road which went off.
As a result, one person namely Ghulam Rasool s/o Muhammad Ibraheem dead and Mehmood Khan received wounds.
The body and the injured were rushed to nearby hospital where Mehmood Khan succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
The bodies of the deceased were handed over to the heirs after completion of legal formalities.
Police and Frontier Corps cordoned off the entire area and started search to trace out suspects.
Further investigation was underway.
