Dubai-based businessmen describes KPK as ideal for investment

PESHAWAR (APP): A delegation of prominent figures hailing from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA, presently based in Dubai for business activities called on the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Governor, Engineer Iqbal Zafar Jhagra at Governor's House, Peshawar here Thursday..

The delegation was led by the Peshawar based Honourary Consul General of Rumania, Ayub Afridi while it was also accompanied by MNA from FATA, Haji Khiyal Zaman Afridi.

The other members of the delegation were included Abdul KarimAfridi, Muhammad Saeed, Muhammad Shahid, Khail Hameed Khattak, Shah Swar Hussain, Gul Ali, Imran Akbar, Maqbool Islam, Ghazi Marjan, Iqbal Hussain and Saeedullah Tarakai.

The Governor welcomed the spirit and keen interest of the members of the delegation in economic development of the country especially the province and FATA and said that expatriate Pakistanis are our precious national asset and the remittances, which they contribute, are becoming valuable part of the foreign reserves of the country.

While referring to certain proposals put forward by members of the delegation, the Governor said, special emphasis is put on promotion of education including the technical training of youth of FATA to enable them to serve the country in a better way.

Meanwhile, the members of the delegation described the prevailing state of circumstances both in the province and FATA, an ideal environment towards promotion of economic development of the area.

They also highlighted some of the difficulties being faced by expatriate Pakistanis and put forward suggestions for their solution as well.
