PTI government to pay media outstanding amount piled up during previous government tenure

ISLAMABAD - Talking to a delegation of All Pakistan Newspapers Society in Islamabad today, Prime Minister said a strategy is being devised to pay media's outstanding amounts piled up during the previous governments so that problems of the newspaper industry could be addressed.
The Prime Minister said media has a key role in promotion of democracy, ensuring good governance, transparency and meritocracy. He said the government will extend full support to the media.
The Prime Minister said the media played an important role to take PTI's ideology to people.
The APNS delegation apprised the Prime Minister of the problems being faced by the newspaper industry.
