Peace is not possible in region and World without Pakistan: Pakistan Army spokesperson

LONDON – DG ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor has said that peace is not possible in the region and the world without Pakistan.
Addressing a ceremony at Warkwick University on Tuesday, he said that Pakistan had given the biggest sacrifice for peace in the world.
“The world should thank Pakistan for the elimination of terrorism. The Al-Qaeda would have not been defeated without the help of Pakistan,” he said.
He said that Pakistan wants US presence till peace in Afghanistan.
The DG ISPR said that terrorist activities had been reduced to nil due the operations launched by the Pakistan Army. “Peace in Pakistan and Afghanistan is linked to each other,” he declared.
