PTI leader Jehangir Tareen lands in hot waters

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader, Jehangir Tareen lands on hot waters.

The anti-corruption department on Friday launched an investigation against Jahangir Khan Tareen into the illegal allotment of 250 acres of land in 2004 in Karachi.

According to anti-corruption department officials, the PTI leader is accused of corruption in Industrial Park project during former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf’s tenure.

Tareen had illegally allotted 250 acres of land worth Rs2.5billion, officials said and added the land was allotted to the PTI leader’s friend in 2004 after it was announced that an industrial park would be established on the land.
