PM Imran Khan telephones Chairman Senate, expresses serious concerns over Fawad Chaudhry issue

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday has telephoned Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani.

PM expressed concerns over the issue of banning Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry’s entrance in the upper house for name calling during the session.

PM Khan discussed the matter with Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani and urged to resolve it with mutual understanding.

Meanwhile, the chairman also informed the premier that difficulties are being faced in holding the session due to Fawad Chaudhry’s aggressive behavior.

On November 15, Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani had banned Fawad Chaudhry’s entrance in the upper house over name calling during the session and demanded Fawad to tender apology.

However, Fawad Chaudhry made it overtly clear that he would not tender apology in upper house of the parliament over what was generally perceived as ‘inappropriate behavior’ by the Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani.
