Pak team to leave for Doha on Friday

ISLAMABAD: A seven-member Pakistan team will leave for Doha, Qatar on Friday to feature in the IBSF World Snooker Championships.

The championship will be held from November 17 to 27, said a press release issued here from Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA).

The training camp of the team had concluded on Thursday in Karachi and the team will be departing for Doha, Qatar on November 17.The players to participate in the championship include Asjad Iqbal, Muhammad Asif, Mubashir Raza, Muhammad Naseem Akhtar, Imran Shahzad, Muhammad Yousuf and Khurram Hussain Agha.

The officials comprise Shabbir Hussain, Naveed Kapadiaand Munawwar Hussain Shaikh (President PBSA).

Munawwar Hussain will be attending the Annual General Meeting of the IBSF to be held during the Championship on November 24.
