India using Afghan soil to carry out acts of terrorism in Pakistan: Ahsan

Interior Minister says govt is paying ample attention towards promotion of science and technology in country.

Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal says the government is paying ample attention towards the promotion of science and technology in the country.

He stated this while addressing the 24th convocation of the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore on Thursday afternoon.

He said significant development has taken place in the science and technology sectors in a short span of time by taking effective measures and prudent policies of the current government.

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal says India is using soil of Afghanistan to carry out acts of terrorism in Pakistan in order to sabotage the CPEC projects.

Talking to the newsmen in Lahore on Thursday, he said government has evolved a strong strategy to curb terrorism and extremism and these menaces have been significantly countered by dint of concrete measures of the government.

He said cross-border terrorism is taking place in Balochistan.

The Minister said no Muslim can compromise on the belief in the finality of the prophet hood and no organization should politicize this matter.
