Ramzan Package: Federal government approves Rs 1.6 billion package

ISLAMABAD – The Economic Coordination Committee has approved special package of 1.6 billion rupees for utility stores for the holy month of Ramazan.
The approval came during meeting of the Committee headed by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Under the approved package nineteen food items will be available at utility stores at subsidised rates. The food items include rice, tea, sugar, pulses, flour, milk and cold drinks.
The meeting also approved extension in date for the import of Urea fertilizer from April 28th to October 31st.
