ISLAMABAD - In a worst, Pakistan Railways two trains collide due to a Signal fault.

Three people sustained injuries including Engine driver after the Karachi-bound Sukkur Express rammed into a parked train near Matiari.

According to the details, the Karachi-bound train Sukkur Express was travelling from Jacobabad to Karachi hit a stationary freight train near Matiari due to signal fault resulted in derailment of the engine from the track.

Relief teams rushed to the place of the incident right after the mishap reported and relief operation to clear the track is under way has been underway.

Earlier in February at least Nineteen people lost their lives and multiple sustained injuries as Pakistan Express collided with a passenger bus at a railway crossing Kandhara Phatak near Rohri railway station.

Police and rescue teams reached at the scene immediately and relief activities are underway, affected people were shifted to the hospital.

According to the Police officials, 19 persons died and more than 30 people were wounded in the incident. Rangers officials have also joined the teams to pull out affectees from the passenger bus.

Earlier in January, two coaches of Allama Iqbal Express train derailed near Kotri Station in Sukkur.
