Court resumes hearing of Avenfield reference against Sharif family

ISLAMABAD:Accountability Court Islamabad has resumed hearing of Avenfield reference against former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family members.
Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Bashir is hearing the case.
Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, and retired Captain Safdar are present in the court room.
Prosecution witness and Head of JIT Wajid Zia will record his statement before the court today.
The defence lawyer will cross examine him.
Earlier, talking to the media persons, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb said that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is striving for the respect of vote. APP/AFP
