Pakistan defeats Bangladesh by 55 runs in T20 World Cup
NEW DELHI: Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 55 runs in the first match of T20 world cup played in Eden Gardens Cricket Stadium Kolkata.
Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first.

Pakistan set a target of 202 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs.
Ahmed Shehzad contributed 52 and Mohammad Hafeez 64 runs in winning of Pakistan.
Team skipper Shahid Afridi contributed 49 score at 19 balls with the help of four boundaries and four sixes.
Pakistan team performed well at fielding also.
Muhammad Amir got 2 wickets at 28 runs and Shahid Afridi also got 2 for 27 runs.
Pakistan will play its second match against arch-rival India on March 19.
