Death toll from secretariat bus bomb blast reaches 16

PESHAWAR: 16 people died while more than 40 sustained critical injuries in a bomb blast exploded inside the bus on Sunehri Masjid Road, Peshawar here at Wednesday early morning.
As per details, the bus was on the way from Charsada to Peshawar, carrying secretariat employees when the blast took place inside the bus near Sunehri Masjid Road. 16 people were
martyred while over 40 received injuries in bomb blast so far.
Police and rescue teams rushed to the scene and cordoned off the area. The injured and dead bodies have been shifted to Lady Reading Hospital by rescue teams. Emergency has been declared in all the nearby hospitals.
Lady Reading hospital administration said that 10 dead bodies and 44 injured have been shifted in hospital. The injured includes 40 men, 3 women and 1 children.
According to BD squad, it was time device bomb and over 6kg explosive was used in blast. Talking to media SSP Operations said that the bomb was exploded with IED Device which was placed in tool box of bus.
President Mamnoon Hussain, PM Nawaz, PTI Chairman Imran Khan and other national leaders expressed their grief over the deadly attack on secretariat bus and condemned it in harsh words.
