World hunger on rise, 820m people facing starvation: UN

The United Nations has said world hunger is on the rise in absolute number and more than 820 million people faced starvation during last year.
The report 'the State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World 2019" launched in New York mentioned that the ratio remained unchanged in the past three years but the absolute number of people facing starvation increased to 821.6 million in 2018.
