Shahbaz Sharif refuse to appear before NAB
LAHORE: Former chief minister of Punjab and President Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), Shehbaz Sharif has failed to appear before National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in Punjab companies’ scandal case on Monday.
Earlier, the anti-corruption watchdog had summoned Shehbaz Sharif at 11am on Monday (today) to investigate the Punjab Power Development Company corruption scandal but he could not attend the hearing.
Shehbaz Sharif has attended the previous two hearing of alleged corruption case.
NAB has charged Shehbaz Sharif with corruption and for granting illegal privileges to favored people.
Yesterday, Shehbaz Sharif had demanded transparent elections and proposed that the evidence be dispatched to forensic labs in Punjab in order to investigate technicalities.
