Punjab govt offers medical treatment to victims of Mastang blast

LAHORE: The Punjab government is ready to provide free medical treatment and other healthcare facilities to the victims of Mastung blast in hospitals all over the province.

The proposal had been extended by Punjab Chief Secretary Akbar Durrani to Chief Secretary Baluchistan Akhter Nazir Warraich in a letter.

The Punjab government strongly condemned the sad incident of suicide bombing in a political gathering in Mastung in which many precisions lives were lost and about 150 sustained injuries.
In this hour of grief and sorrow, the government and people of Punjab expressed sympathies and solidarity with the families of the victims, said the letter.

The chief secretary Punjab, in his letter, said there was no substitute of human lives, however, sufferings of victims should be mitigated by extending all sort of help and care to the injured and bereaved families.

Akbar Durrani said the Punjab government was ready to provide free medical treatment to the victims of the blast through its facilities spread all over the province. APP
