Opposition going to launch Moment for Restoration of Corruption: Zaidi

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Syed Ali Zaidi said the Opposition was going to launch Moment for Restoration of Corruption and it was united in these days for protecting their combine interests.

Talking to a private news channel, he said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government was demanding to Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah for giving resignation from the seat after his name become surfaced in the joint investigation Team (JIT) report. He said those who involved in corruption have to face the cases and punished as per law of the land whether they belongs to any political party.

The Minister said PTI had not registered any single case against the Opposition leadership but both the parties including Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Pakistan Peoples Party had filed the cases against each other.

Replying to a question, he said holding protest was the constitutional right of the Opposition and there was no fear to government in that regard.

He said the government would discuss with the Opposition regarding extension of military courts.
