Intezar murder case: ACLC officials remanded for 7 days

KARACHI: A local court has remanded eight Anti Car Lifting cell officials in police custody for seven days in a case pertaining to the killing of 19-year-old Intezar Ahmad.

Eight Anti Car Lifting Cell officials were presented in a local court of Karachi in Intezar Ahmad murder case. Accused SHO Tariq Mehmood, Ghulam Abbas, Tariq Rahim, Azhar Hussain, Fawad Khan, Daniyal, Bilal and Shahid were remanded in police custody.

Investigation officer said that the accused will be identified by girl. They have also gathered information about the girl who was sitting in the car. Her statement would also be recorded. The progress report would be submitted after seven days.

Two days back ACLC officials had killed 19-year-old Intezar Ahmad as he had not stopped the car. He was the only child of the family.

Police registered a case against unknown people to save their fellows but they were arrested after Chief Minister took action. One of the officials of ACLC is still on run.
