Islam will emerge as the second largest religion in USA by year 2040: US Think Tank

WASHINGTON: The Muslim population in United States of America is going to surpass the Jewish population by the end of the year 2040, a study carried out by the PEW Research centre revealed.
Muslim population is increasing at a faster rate than the jewish population and the results of the study revealed that between the years 2010 and 2015 more than half of the Muslim population growth was the result of the immigration.
Higher birth rates and increase in the immigration are the two main factors for the higher rate of increase of the Muslim population in USA.
Presently there are 3.3 million Muslims residing in USA making up one percent of the US population while 5.7 million Jews make up 1.8% of the total population of United States of America, the study further revealed.
