Postings, transfers of officers in National Assembly

ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Secretariat Friday issued office orders transferring and posting several of its high level officers to different departments of the lower house.
Qamar Sohail Lodhi presently working as Special Secretary, National Assembly Secretariat is transferred and posted as Special Secretary (PAC and Parliamentary Committees). He will continue to report to Secretary National Assembly Secretariat and will deal with special tasks assigned by the Speaker and Secretary from time to time. In addition, he will also sit on desk in the National Assembly Hall as and when required by the Speaker.
Iftikhar Rahim, a BS-20 officer of Pakistan Audit and Accounts previously working as Joint Secretary (BS-20) in the National Assembly Secretariat on deputation basis is repatriated to the Establishment Division. He has relinquished the charge of the post of Joint Secretary (BS-20) in NA Secretariat with effect from February 15.
Muhammad Maqbool Khan, presently working as Director General (Library and Research) (BS-20) in this Secretariat on deputation basis is repatriated to the Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services, Islamabad. He has relinquished charge of the post of Director (Library and Research) in NA Secretariat with effect from February 15, 2019.
Iftikhar Ahmed, Joint Secretary (Admn) is transferred to work as Joint Secretary (Committee) while Latif Qureshi Joint Secretary (Litigation) will look after the work of Joint Secretary Establishment. Sher Dil Khan Director Finance will hold the additional charge of post of Joint Secretary Administration in addition to his own duties for three months. Khaleeq Ahmad Joint Secretary Committee will now work as Joint Secretary PAC Implementation. All these officers are of grade 20.
Shehryar Khan, presently working as Staff Officer (BS-18) is posted as Secretary to Speaker in his own pay and scale. While Syed Shamoon Ashraf Hashmi, Joint Secretary (IR) will also supervise the work of PR Wing.
