EU to provide 653 million Euros loan to Pakistan for poverty elimination in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: European Union will provide 653 million loan to Pakistan for the rural development, education, good governance and for the progress of human rights departments. The agreement has been signed between Pakistan and EU. As per details, Division economic affairs secretary Tariq Bajwa and EU envoy Jean Fransus signed a memorandum of understanding in Islamabad. Finance Minister Ishaq Dar was also present in ceremony. Dar also spoke at the occasion and lauded the role of EU in development cooperation in various sectors of the economy and the social protection program in Pakistan.
