Russia ready to deepen ties with China: Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin says Russia is ready to deepen cooperation with China in various areas and enhance coordination on international and regional affairs.
He said this while meeting with member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China in Sochi.
Putin said he and Chinese President Xi Jinping reached new and important consensuses on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in South Africa last month, and that Russia-China relations are significant to both countries and the whole world.
Putin said he is looking forward to meeting Xi again.
