Punjab, Balochistan assemblies elect Speakers, Dy Speakers today

Election for Speaker and Deputy Speaker of Punjab Assembly will be held today.
Our representative reports that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has already nominated Chaudhry Parvez Elahi as the coalition's candidate for post of Speaker Punjab Assembly and Dost Muhammad Mazari as Deputy Speaker.
PML (N) has nominated Chaudhry Iqbal Gujjar for post of Speaker and Muhammad Waaris Kallu for Deputy Speaker.
Balochistan Assembly
Balochistan Assembly will also meet at 3 pm in Quetta today to hold election of Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the provincial assembly.
Candidates for both the positions can submit their nomination papers till 12 noon today.
Balochistan Awami Party and allies have nominated Abdul Quddus Bizenjo for the slot of speaker and Sardar Babar Musa Khel of PTI for the position of Deputy Speaker.
