PM designate Imran Khan nominates KP governor

ISLAMABAD - Spokesperson Fawad Chaudhary says the Prime Minister-designate Imran Khan will submit his advice regarding appointment of Governors of Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhawa soon after taking oath of his office.
Talking to media at Bani Gala in Islamabad on Thursday evening, he said Shah Farman has been nominated for the slot of Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhawa.
He said after the approval of President, Shah Farman will take oath of his office next week.
He said Shah Farman has more responsibilities on his shoulder as he is also responsible for administering the tribal areas.
The new Governor KP will work for expediting the process of merger of FATA into Khyber Pakhtunkhawa.
Fawad Chaudhary said the election of Prime Minister is by division and voters will sit on different sides of the House, and they will be counted later.
He expressed hope that Imran Khan will comfortably achieve 180 to 184 votes.
Replying to a question, Fawad Chaudhary said we again ask the PML-N to sit with us and convey their grievances and concerns to us.
Appreciating the role of PPP in the assembly, he said PML-N also has played a positive role which can be improved further.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor designate Shah Farman said he is thankful to PTI Chief Imran Khan for entrusting him for this prestigious position.
He said people of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa have suffered a lot during the last decade. He said the tribal people gave huge sacrifices in the war against terror.
He said areas of FATA will be developed at par with other developed parts of the country.
