An FIR registered against PML MPA by Punjab Police

SAHIWAL - An FIR has been registered against Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Mian Naveed Ali.
He was booked by Pakpattan Saddar police for threatening and trespassing on a piece of land in Bahrampur village on July 12, reported link a local media outlet.
There was an ownership dispute on a piece of land between Rana Ahmed and Sharafat Dogar.
An FIR [First Information Report] was registered against Naveed and Ahmed under sections 452, 506/B, 337/H2, 148 and 149 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) on the complaint of Dogar.
Ahmed was arrested from his residence while his son could not be arrested as he was in Lahore for oath-taking ceremony. The FIR said that Dogar and others were working on the agricultural land when the PML-N MPA, his father, union council Chairman Bashir Ahmed and others forcefully entered the land.
While addressing the media, District Police Officer Rizwan Gondal said, “no one would be allowed to take law into their hands.”
