Mali: 15 militants killed in Timbuktu attack

In Mali, 15 militants have been killed in an attack on a United Nations base in northern city of Timbuktu.
According to the Mali's security ministry, the assailants tried to detonate two car bombs, one of them a vehicle in the colours of the Malian armed forces and the other carrying the UN logo.
Officials said more than a dozen people, including many French soldiers were wounded. APP/AFP
